Lancaster Lane  Community Primary School  is a caring community where  every one is valued for their uniqueness and  is nurtured  to be a happy and  successful individual.

We are  a good school with outstanding features where 'pupils thrive'. Our school is a caring community where the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils was graded by Ofsted as outstanding   (Jan 2009).   Our staff impart a love of learning to our pupils and create an environment where 'pupils flourish'.

We are a small, happy and friendly primary school situated on the edge of Leyland, two minutes from the M6 (junction 28) and close to Buckshaw Village.  We enjoy using our  large school field.  The school was opened in 1975 and has had many improvements over the years.

We have seven classes - Reception, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6.

Our Early Learners pre-school group is open to children aged 3 and 4 years. This is open to all children in the community.

There is the opportunity for before and after school care at our Breakfast Club and Stoppers After School Club.
